They don't even need to have plants to be gorgeous, they look like a work of art on their own. If you want to plant them they are drilled with a hole at the bottom for drainage. there is a photo of the inside of the planter, complete with leaves for reference, and you can see the hole drilled. These were actually never used for plants, the leaves are from a tree above in the yard. They are made out of concrete, stone and fiberglass. Quite heavy, at 200 lbs. each.
