Painted in the manner of the ancient manuscript illustrations found in museums all over the world. The artwork shows people going about their everyday lives on a river bank or klong. From selling vegetables, fruits, weaving, cooking, bartering - the detail of the homes is just so interesting. Even to the fish shaped wind chimes in the windows.
Matted and presented in a wonderful pickled finish gold leaf frame which compliments the warmth of the colours found in the painting.

Very good condition with expected minor wear and blemishes to painting surface, matting, and frame.
