Designed by Zanellato & Bortotto for De Castelli, the Marea cabinet is part of a collection including wardrobes, chests of drawers, and sideboards. Thinking of metal as a living material, the designers have created a beautiful decorative and useful piece, each unique handmade item overlaps oxidations across metal to create the effect of water erosion. With its square clean lines, they are made in copper (orange brassy), stainless steel (ocean blue), or brass (golden), and the interior is finished in natural birch, it’s sure to draw attention to any living room or bedroom.
Somewhere between design object and work of art, each piece in the collection, composed of a chest of drawers, low credenza and cabinet, is unique thanks to an entirely hand-crafted finish that transforms the metal surface into a delicate water colour.
Finish is Stainless Steel AISI 304 DeMarea M4, with Titanium Oak inner structure less
