When … more Please read first- These are from circa 1910. they are a set of two tables, very tall and thin. When i researched them i found two sets, both turn of the century, one set $3900 and the 2nd set $8900. Our set looks identical to these, same legs, same insert glass tile, with tiles missing due to age and same paint. Ours have writing up and down the legs, but we have no idea what they are saying. They are so cool and really something that should be on Antique Roadshow. I bet they would love these. I am going to mark them to move, but if anyone knows more history about these two pieces i would love to know. There is no makers marks or they are covered in makers marks. The writing looks very much like something you would see in Phuket, Thailand. The feel is Indian Ocean or south Asia. They are stunning!!
The little figurines I found on line- Vishnu and angels circa 1880s. They are from Thailand. I know these pieces are something special. This is a work in progress for research and i hope you love you them. there are two tables, the tall one- 24 inches wide, 11 inch deep and 46 tall, the shorter table, 20 long 10 deep and 38 tall. less
