This … more ThatKateGirl is pleased to offer this early 20th century signed and framed, oil on wood board European landscape painting. This painting features an idyllic scene of a country house by a river with a stone arched bridge in greens, blues and tans. Note too the steeply pitched red roof, tree growing in the middle of the river, and long, lush grasses beginning to yellow. This painting was acquired by the previous owner in 1975 from a private party in Brussels, Belgium and is believed to be early 20th century. Measures approximately 30” wide, 2” deep and 22” tall. Painting has some crackling and an area of damage. Frame has some areas of chipped plaster that was touched up with paint. less
