Handmade in the early 1960's, they have dazzling sequin and beaded details in traditional red and green. The mitten pairs are connected by a long, metallic thread for hanging. These mini-mittens are double-sided (decorated on both sides). Each mitten is 2.25"W x 0.75"D x 3"H approx. with a 12" thread attaching it to its match. This type of hand beaded felt ornament became popular around the same time as aluminum Christmas trees, with sequins designed to reflect rotating color wheel lights. See less
