This Pablo Picasso rare vintage 1995 Modernist lithograph print custom framed iconic poster " Bouquet of Peace " 1958, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print poster is published by portal Publications Ltd. Corte Madera, California. printed in The United States in 1995 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features an iconic artwork image originally created by Picasso in 1958 titled " Bouquet of Peace ".
Pablo Picasso ( 1881 - 1973 ) was a Spanish born painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, poet and playwright who spent most of life in France. He is regarded as one of the most important and influential artists of The Twentieth Century. Exceptionally prolific throughout the course of his long life, Picasso achieved universal renown and immense fortune for his revolutionary artistic accomplishments, and became one of the most well known figures in 20th Century Art.
Picasso created " Bouquet of Peace " in 1958 to commemorate The Peace Conference Demonstration in Stockholm Sweden to promoted nuclear disarmament and prevent atomic war. The artwork also known as " Hands with Flowers " Mans Aux Fleurs ) is one of the artist's most iconic Modernist masterpieces.
Picasso was a vocal advocate for global peace, he revisited the theme throughout his oeuvre to showcase his commitment. He believed in creating harmony among all people, symbolized by the two hands holding the bouquet of flowers in unity in this artwork.
The rare out of print framed Modernist poster print measures 24 3/4" W X 36 1/2" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern deep purple subtle metallic finish metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
