This is an original Danish Holmegaard table lamp, designed by Michael Bang in 1984. Bang designed many pieces for Holmegaard, and this piece is from the "Symmetrisk" Collection, as noted on the original paper sticker label.
The glass is of thick, heavy quality; It has white and gray melted glass swirls underlying the smooth clear glass. No two pieces from this collection are identical.
It will arrive with its Danish silk-string empire lampshade which is in an off-white. The shade is in terrific condition with no loose strings or stains.
The body of the lamp is 7 inches deep and wide, and is 22.5 inches tall from base to finial. The shade measures 14 inches wide and 10 inches high. The measurement from bottom of base to top of base body is 10.5 inches. less
