Jim Wagner Taos (1940-2021) Geese and flowers Tryptic Painting custom designed for a client in Kansas who commissioned him to paint the cabinets in her home C. 1980. For some thirty years, Jim Wagner was a highly active artist in Taos, New Mexico, producing literally thousands of works in a variety of formats---painting, drawing, jewelry, furniture and clay.
In 1993, a book was written about him: Jim Wagner, Taos: An American Artist, which has a registry of 2,343 pieces of his art.
