Stunning lithograph by one of the great artists of the 20th century. This piece is unmistakably by the artist Fernand Leger, in his very characteristic style of cubist figures. This style combines elements of the Art Deco movement, with Modern and even tends to be a forebear of the later Pop Art movement. The lithograph itself is in pristine condition, great color and the paper is very white and clean. T
his particular lithograph is number 120 of a run of 300 and was done with a much more involved and skilled printmaking style of pochoir lithograph. The lithograph is numbered and also signed by Leger along with the stamp of authenticity from the Musee Fernand Leger Biot. The lithograph was expertly matted and framed with museum glass to protect the work from UV radiation. Was purchased from a reputable gallery in New York. less
