A charming antique Qing Dynasty (1636-1912) cloisonné enamel lidded box.
China, late 19th / early 20th century, likely originating as an opium box, the round covered brass container decorated with yellow ground, colorful lotus scroll flourishes, lower black border and gilt accents, blue enameled interior and bottom.
This interesting Asian antique looks to have lived a full and adventurous life, with heavily worn distressed patina and significant scattered losses to the rim of the top and verso.

Condition:
Good original unrestored antique condition with beautifully aged warm rustic heavily worn patina. The top rim and bottom have significant scattered losses.
