Crystal cut "Pinwheel" was pettented in US in 1899, but its origins can be traced back to the mid-19th century in Lower Silesia (nowadays Poland).

Family-owned Julia is the last surviving crystal glass manufacture in Poland, creating hand-formed pieces.
In Julia, one vessel passes through up to 25 pairs of craftsmen`s hands, and it sometimes takes as long as 7 days from starting work to completing it. The transparency and brilliance as well as the reflections of crystal glass are second to none.
