This art nouveau expandable 3 rails sliding Book Holder has a berry pattern. This item has iron ends with Brass sliders and it is very clean with no damage. The patina and paint are also very nice. Approximate size, ends are 7" X 5.5". The width when slid closed 12” open to any dimension up to 22".

Art Nouveau style folding book rack with pine branch motif, depicts pine cones & needles, in crisp, sharp, deep relief.
Made by H.L. Judd, marked Model #9778, Circa 1910-1915.

This wonderful antique belonged to my Mom who is just shy of 101 years old and since downsizing to a smaller assisted living home is offering this up to someone who might enjoy it for many years as she had. Pairs nicely with Art Deco, Arts & Crafts, or Art Nouveau decor.

Well made and works perfectly. Can be used or stored as it folds down as photos show. Heavy substantial piece and has all 3 rails which many of the older ones found on the internet are missing.

Bronze with lovely patina. Very elegant.

Kept in NO smoking home.
