- A large Scandinavian Modern vintage serving or punch bowl from Royal Copenhagen of Denmark's iconic Blue Line, dating between 1974 … more A large Scandinavian Modern vintage serving or punch bowl from Royal Copenhagen of Denmark's iconic Blue Line, dating between 1974 and 1978. The pale gray-blue earthenware bowl with a simple hand-painted darker blue line encircling the rim was created by award winning architect, ceramicist, and designer of glass and furniture, Grethe Meyer (1918–2008) for Royal Copenhagen in 1965. Two smaller bowls from the Blue Line (or Blåkant) are part of the British Museum collection and Blue Line designs are included in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum. The punchbowl is in very good condition with some crazing, measuring 11.63 in. diameter x 6 in. height. The Royal Copenhagen factory mark is printed in underglaze blue on the base over three wavy lines / FAJANCE / the artist's monogram / 3049 (form/model number). less
