"California Country Meadow and Hills" Landscape Watercolor Painting by Rene Weaver, Framed 1959
Mid Century California landscape watercolor of a meadow through rolling hills by California artist Rene Weaver (American, 1897-1984). Signed "Rene Weaver" lower right. Presented in a painted wood frame, no glass.

Frame, 24"H x 31"W x 2"D
Weaver graduated from the University of Idaho and studied figure and landscape painting with Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann in Portland. He had a studio at Sansome and Market streets in the Flatiron Building, San Francisco and was a member of the California Art Club.
