- Very nice looking antique gentleman's chest or bureau in the Renaissance Revival style, constructed of solid oak and walnut.....lovely sculptural … more Very nice looking antique gentleman's chest or bureau in the Renaissance Revival style, constructed of solid oak and walnut.....lovely sculptural elements, including a decorative back piece, hand carved drawer pulls, and some nice details throughout.....four large drawers in the main portion of the chest, with two small drawers on the top---these two top drawers can be locked, and the original key is included.....the chest is in very good condition overall, with a little bit of wear----it appears to have been refinished in the past at some point, and it's been very well cared for overall.....sturdy and solid, with a lot of life and use left in it.....there are a few minor blemishes, but nothing major----look through the photos, and let me know if you have any questions.....it presents beautifully, particularly for a chest that's 100+ years old... less
