This is a fabulous old Middle Eastern vessel / vase. Made from brass with applied stones it dates from the first half of the 20th Century. It is handmade and has a wonderful hammered floral pattern.
Also of interest is the fact that this bucket was sourced at the Sony Prop House in Los Angeles which closed down in September 2023. On the bottom of it is a Sony reference label. If you think you may have seen this in a film or T.V. show ("Laurence of Arabia?! Aladdin?!) then you probably have! I have no C.O.A. other then the Sony markings which I assume were added so as not to lose it on a studio set somewhere.
It measures 20 1/2" height x 8 1/2" diameter. The hole at the rim is approx 2 1/2' diameter.
It weighs 2lb 12oz.
This vessel vase will prove to be a fabulous find for the collector of rare brass, Middle-Eastern antiquities and also film memorabilia.
All our items are well packed, tracked and fully insured. It will arrive to you in the exact condition as pictured. Pick from L.A. 90291 also available. message me for details.

This vessel / vase shows definite signs of age and use as all great vintage items do. It has worn over the years and has a great "antique aged" surface. None the less, the vessel is marked in places and has minor dents, scratches and bends. (If turned to a certain angle it stands not quite straight, but keep turning to get it straight again - see pics). There is a slight bend in both its rim and base. The edge of the rim also has a tiny split in it (see pic) - this does not compromise it in anyway though. You may wish to restore the brass to its former glories - but I have to say I love its distressed aesthetic just as it is now. Examine all the pictures closely. Zoom in & out to get a good sense of it's exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The photos serve as a document as to its condition. You will receive the exact vessel/vase pictured here. less
