From our new collection of overdyed rugs, a 9×12 vintage Persian rug, hand-knotted in wool circa 1970-1980.
On the Design:
This vintage rug has been given a particular wash to give it this old-world look and muted style of pattern. The subdued designs in black and brown enjoy a gorgeous sense of movement in their subtlety and the way they lead the eye more through color than definition. Keen eyes may further admire notes of dark blue in the many rich accents within the earth tones.
This piece is a comfortable shabby-chic rug from a fabulous new line—almost trending monochromatic or solid with the same cozy, simple design appeal.
