Set of two 16th century oak panels, one representing a character accompanied by a dog, the other a character in flames, probably saints.
These panels probably come from a chest or a Renaissance period cabinet, it was customary when the furniture was too damaged to dismantle the carved panels in order to re-use them on other furniture or for decoration.
