Crafted in Hebei province in the early 1900s as a decorative addition to the doorway of a luxurious home. It displays four characters intricately carved into the sides of a long, curved arch, alongside an encircling floral pattern. This lintel boasts intricate carvings with an open, scrolling pattern below its apron. Its feet are sculpted in the form of two facing, robed figures. It retains its authentic character and detail formed over the years, making an ideal wall decoration for above a door, sideboard, console, or bed to infuse sophistication. See less
