Description: Beautiful antique fireplace set consisting of a clock and a pair of cassolettes. The black marble clock rests on lions' … more Beautiful antique fireplace set consisting of a clock and a pair of cassolettes. The black marble clock rests on lions' feet and is surmounted by a bronze engraved Medici vase with eight faces of Greek gods and adorned with a garland of vine leaves and ribbons. Both sides of the clock are decorated with the heads of lions holding handles in their mouths. The cassolettes, too, have masks and lions' feet, and inside their cups there are medallions depicting a man and a woman represented in the manner of the antique.
Numbers 9 and 12 are missing on the dial.
