It is thought to have been hung in the entryway of a prosperous family's home. This panel features a central carving displaying figures accompanied by floral and scrolling designs, all in relief. A frame tops and flanks the piece, each end of which is intricately carved. This lintel can add a decorative touch above sideboards, beds, or even entryways, following its original purpose. See less
