- Antique faux bamboo fireplace from France, around 1900. The wooden frame is painted with black and gold. In the frame … more Antique faux bamboo fireplace from France, around 1900. The wooden frame is painted with black and gold. In the frame is a beautiful gold with black fabric with patterns of leaves. Both sides of the hair screen are different. On one side is a small crack at the top right of the fabric, as can be seen on the last photo. We cleaned the frame of this hair screen and provided it with a layer of wax. A beautiful decorative item for your fireplace. less
