These panels were originally given to Chinese couples 'ensure the family lineage'. Embroidered on gorgeous red silk, surrounded by a mixed green and blue brocade edging and border.
Presented under glass in a very high-quality black lacquer Chinoiserie shadow-box frame with traditional brass hanging fixture. The frame is superb.
No markings other than typed description on verso.
Excellent condition. Minor wear to frame.
