A beautifully burnt-orange hued lamp and sgraffito-etched harp with heart-and-clover decoration is in blin's trademark misty glaze. The piece was seemingly produced as a one-off for an a.d. Burley, most likely of irish heritage given the piece's decoration. Since the 13th century, the harp had been considered the heraldic symbol of ireland. In good overall condition commensurate with age. Highly collectible and rare personalised piece. The shade is not included . Re-wired for uk use. Signed on the lower exterior of the piece: 'j. Blin'.
