1920s Art Deco sterling and genuine ruby spinel link bracelet. Absolutely stunning, rare, and exquisite, this intricate and dazzling bracelet is hand-crafted and utterly one of a kind. Three central links offer tall cage settings in repeated elliptical motifs; nestled within these settings are prong-set emerald-cut ruby spinels. On either side are etched oval links joined by ridged connectors. Spinels were a popular stone in the Art Deco era, and blood-red ruby spinels were among the the most desirable. Originally thought to be rubies, they became highly desirable in their own right. Stones of the size of the ones found here were rare, and extremely valuable. The workmanship on this bracelet is extraordinary, and the stones beyond compare. A truly rare and exceptional Art Deco masterpiece. Condition is flawless. Marked in tiny letters on the clasp, what appears to be "USA". 6.75"L x 0.75"W x 0.5"H. less
