This hand-blown piece is crafted using the pulegoso technique. Pulegoso glass, which appears full of bubbles, is made by injecting into the molten glass a component that reacts and in doing so releases gas bubbles. This technique was invented in the 1920s at Venini glassworks. This glass has been fused with brass and copper. There are two vases available - one vase has the listed diameter of 10.25”, the other has a diameter of 10”. Signed by Alberto Dona. See less
