Early 1900s Edwardian sterling link bracelet with Dragon's Breath stones. Linked open frames of etched silver are prong-set with the most exquisite art glass stones. The rarest of the rare! These stones were fashioned by Czech Bohemian glass-masters, who incorporated metals into the glass-blowing process to create these phantasmagorical art glass stones. The exact process has been lost to time, and modern simulations have been attempted, but nothing compares to the glorious originals. Head-on, they appear to be a warm translucent pale amber/tangerine hue; but change the angle, and suddenly you are treated to a mesmerizing gossamer veil of neon purple, blue, and orange, as if the stones were on fire from within. Singular, seductive, and shimmering... the photos couldn't begin to capture the mystery and magic of these stones. Impeccable condition. 7"L x 0.35"W. less
