DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous Stuart Sideboard is magnificently detailed and comes with a Removable Brass Galley, which is quite rare and difficult to find. It is made with a variety of woods, primarily Mahogany accented with Satinwood, and is designed with multiple inlays that produce a complex, decorative sideboard that is just exquisite. The stunning serpentine shaped top is crafted in Mahogany with a Satinwood border. The drawers and doors are faced with fiery Crotch Mahogany and have Satinwood borders and corner fan inlays. Inlaid bell flowers and Holly inlays intricately decorate the case columns and end with a Satinwood cuff on the lower tapered leg. The center top of the Sideboard is adorned with a beautiful oval fan pattern inlay. The two outside locking doors reveal ample open storage. The top drawer contains a soft silverware liner to nestle your fine silver flatware. To protect the finish, the sideboard includes a think felt bottomed pad with a wood motif top that blends with the milieu wood design of the piece. The protective cover is perfectly shaped to the lines of the sideboard serpentine top so that it blends into the design of the piece. Recently refinished with a high gloss finish that is reflective and brings the sideboard to life. Medium contrast on all inlays. Polished Brass Hardware. 72"W/24"D/39H.
