20'th century 52" Henredon mahogony extension dining table with one leaf, up to 74.25". The table is circular without the additional leaf. With the leaf added it is oval shaped. Beautiful inlaid woods in star,l band, and skirt encircling the table. The surface has a a intentionally distressed finish to the surface which makes it look like a antique. The pedestal is more of a black but has shades of red and brown shining through, again a intentionally distressed look. The table top sits on top of a large pedestal with a square top to hold the entire table in a firm position while extending or shortening. There are two locks on the underside and the table closes tightly without a gap. The pedestal is marked Henredon as well as the table top and leaf. The chairs are not marked Henredon but they work well with the table and can be purchased with the table or alone. The table may also be purchased without the chairs in a seperate listing.
This is a fabluous table with a beautiful finish and many years to enjoy. infront of it. less
