Colour and textures may slightly differ depending on devices, and remain unique for each creation since the handcrafted features and natural materials of this object. The italian marble “palissandro blu nuvolato” is characterised by a soft light blue background, crossed by mineral shimmering veins, from grey to light-brown or beige nuances, almost resembling a fistful of stars in the night sky. Part of the artistic and architectural heritage of its original territory, such as the duomo cathedral of milan-italy, this décor object presents a minimal structure handcrafted of solid brass, with a golden matt satin finish. The squared tubular gently hangs the diffuser above a minimal thin plate, folded like a sheet of paper. Furthermore, the hidden joinery provides a sleek solution to smooth intersections of sober surfaces and sought-after textures. As part of “revamp edition,” this eclectic lighting represents a wonderful statement piece, merging functionality and an innovative aesthetic. For the lamp/two collection, our mission was bringing the light a step closer, keeping the previous lamp/one collection’s curated material selection and high-end crafts techniques as a leitmotiv. As a result, solid calacatta marble, canaletto walnut wood and satin brass are juxtaposed to and high-lighted by a minimal structure, realized through the employment of hidden joinery, unveiling only the intersections between sober surfaces and sought-after textures. In this collection the sleek brass squared tubular, enriched by the golden nuance of a satin hand-finish, designs the silhouettes of these refined table lights. These orthogonal elements gently suspend the body lamp on a brass base, which soflty reflects the coming downlight into the surrounding space. Similarly to lamp/one collection, the precious body lamp stands at the centre of the attention. The delicacy of a crystal shade, almost invisible in the dark, unveils extra-thin limoges porcelain geometries. These translucid and ephemeral biscuit layers provide sophisticated and unexpected plays of light when touched by the coming down-light. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
