Core pendant light by johannes hemann material: steel, brass dimensions: ø 35 x h 48 cm just like the universe is made from smallest parts, the atoms, core has been built from small beads. It is an experiment to see how small parts can built a bigger shape. The process starts with single iron beads, being soldered together. Each bead lets the structure grow further, just like corals in the sea. A flame heats up the iron beads wherever it hits them and this way the shape is created by the path of fire and the brazing solder. The shape of the piece can be adjusted as well as the size and the lightness or density of the structure. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the usa it will be wired for the usa for instance. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
