The color palette of this piece is light and vibrant with green and blue hues mixing with softer brown and yellow. In the forefront of the painting a river runs through the countryside and fades into the hills. In the distance a castle rests snuggly between two of the rolling hills and puffy, summer clouds hang above it. Trees and other shrubbery overhang from the riverbank and dot the hills leading to the buildings.
