An indispensable tool for gardeners, trugs tend to be compact, shallow, and easy-to-carry baskets used primarily for carrying gardening tools and gathering flowers, fruits and vegetables. This well-made, handwoven basket is a little deeper than your average trug and has a rich, warm patina that only comes with age. It is in excellent vintage with only minor, age-appropriate wear and signs of use, including some loss on the basket's handle (see photos). These minor "imperfections" tend to enhance the basket's vintage character. Use in the garden, for decorative displays or as a stylish knitting, sewing or crochet basket. A wonderful vintage piece!
