Antique floor lamp, often referred to as a "reading lamp" or "bridge lamp" with period glass shade (globe). Completely rewired. Excellent condition. Circa 1910- 1920s.
The brass socket is a swivel to allow moving of the shade for directional light.
Brass with a metal and antique brass finished base.
