These were a really fun project for me, I spied these amazing bookends at an auction and they were extremely tarnished. I used all my tricks and finally got the ball rolling and here they are! I left them with a heavier tarnish and I really like the way it looks! I love taking something that is rough and putting the time in, to breathe life into something from the past. And here is the final product!
So that being said these great set of bookends are from the 1960s and are brass. They have a dynamic look to them and would look great in an office, on a bookshelf, or a table. I love the idea of using bookends as decor not just as bookends; style them right on a table. They would make a great gift for a sailing enthusiast!

They could be polished more if you wanted. They have patina to them showing they are vintage and I think giving them some character. Please refer to the photos for condition details, thank you! less
