This Spode Italian Design Red Dutch Jug is any transferware lover’s dream. Incredibly large and oversized, this beautiful piece has a 240-ounce capacity and measures approximately 10” tall, 13” wide (including the handle) and 7.5” across the top. The transferware was a replica of an early 1800s pattern introduced by Josiah Spode. Although it is called red, the color is truly more of a mulberry or burgundy. This piece is incredibly difficult to find, especially looking as lovely as it does. In excellent preloved condition. less
