Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown dark amethyst / cinnamon and gold flecks Italian art glass decorative shell vide-poche bowl. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso, circa 1950s. Published technique in books. Created with powder pigments, "Pulveri" technique, and profusely covered in gold leaf. The bowl has a conch seashell shape. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or curio cabinet. Use it as a catchall, candy dish or jewelry / ring dish. Mid-century era. Measures: 5" long x 4 1/2" wide x 2" high.
