Midcentury amazing sconce "Lantern" wall lamp in rattan and bamboo, attributed to Louis Sognot, France, 1960s. A wonderful example of midcentury craftsmanship, where bamboo and rattan are perfectly blended. It's a gorgeous piece for a midcentury outdoor project. Louis Sognot was a French designer best known for his elegant furniture made from a combination of rattan and wood. Sognot was influenced by Art Deco and Cubist aesthetics, giving his work a unique stylistic touch while still being usable.
