The interior with repeating rows of upright 'cabbages', butterflies and the exterior with repeating butterflies. The upper and lower rims with complex berry & floral designs. Long life symbol, centre base. Central 寿 – shòu (longevity, “long life”).
No markings.
Circa 1890, made during the Guangxu reign.
Condition is fair. No damage or repair but firing flaws have resulted in a loss of enameling in places. Still a stunning display piece as well as a excellent study piece for those interested in Chinese antique porcelain..
