- The chain on the back of the easel has broken away from the back of the mirror. It still works … moreThe chain on the back of the easel has broken away from the back of the mirror. It still works but would be sturdier if the chain were reattached. The metal frame has all over patina and the mirror has black marks (lines). Soldering on back. If you wanted to hang on the wall, the easel on the back is removable (simply pinch in) so you could buy something like an invisible plate hanger disc that attaches to the back and hang the mirror that way. There are lots of options out there for hanging decorative plates and I am sure that one of these would work with this mirror as well.
