Marked by the H. Luppens Bruxelles foundry stamp.
The Belgian firm of H. Luppens & Co. is well known for its high quality bronze objects made during the third quarter of the 19th century. The H.Luppens & Cie Foundry had its workshops in Saint-Gilles, 15 rue deDenmark. Founder and bronzemaker specialized in furniture, clocks, ceiling lights and bronze.
