A very rare vintage Mid Century collectors item, a Glass Art Deco Design Dacota DC3 Airplane Table or Desk Lamp.
It is signed in the glass part as well as in the frame part!
Why is the DC-3 so famous?
First flown in 1935, the Douglas DC-3 became the most successful airliner in the formative years of air transportation, and was the first to fly profitably without government subsidy.

The Airplane Lamp by Sarsaparilla Deco Designs is an exquisite work of art in Art Deco style, designed in 1978. The choice of the Dakota DC3 as a source of inspiration gives this lamp a nostalgic touch and recalls the Golden Era of aviation.
This lamp is characterised by its unique design that perfectly captures the Art Deco aesthetic.
