Production of the original Krenit bowls ceased in 1964. By that time about 1 million bowls had been sold as of 1953.

Offered is a classic mid 20th Century Danish Krenit white enamel on black matte metal bowl. The bowl stands on a narrow flat rounded base and is of deep rounded form with the inner bowl decorated in a vibrant white enamel within a black matte shell.

The conical-shaped bowl measures 9.875" in diameter, has a round flat base that is 3" in diameter, and is 5.5" in height / depth.
