There are three levels to this panting/collage. The first is the lower darkness or void. The place from which all things arise. The color, texture and form bubble out of the darkness and bring it to life. The sole tree in the piece can symbolize the tree of life that reaches up to the eternal light.
This piece uses acrylic, paper and fabric to create a colorful abstract landscape, brought together by a yellow under painting.
