This … Read more This elegant side table was designed by Carl Malmsten and produced by his company in Sweden in the 1960s. This is a rare variant of his iconic 'Berg' model, with a larger square top instead of the usual round, smaller tops. The table can be used as a coffee table but could also function well as an occasional or center table in a variety of rooms. The design is marked by the three legged base in solid elm, with a visually attractive wood grain. The substantial square top is of a veneered elm burl, which gives the top a striking and vivid appearance. The table is in very good condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use. The pieces is brandmarked 'CM' on the underside of the top. This piece has an attribution mark,
