A rare pair of armchairs. The design of these chairs can be found both in the Nieuwe Instituut archive in Rotterdam and in the book Elmar Berkovich 1897-1968, Bonas 2011. Pp.45 & 92.
The chairs themselves came out of the interior of E. de Wilde in Eindhoven at that time the director of the Abbe Museum (he later became the director of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam). I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
