This listing is for an antique German standing regulator.
This clock was made in the Vienna regulator style and has a sonnerie quarter striking movement.
The clock comes in a nicely carved wooden case with a large glass front door. The dial, weights, and pendulum are made from nicely engraved metal.
This clock is in overall good condition. Some signs of normal wear and age present, such as tarnish on the dial.
As is typical for clocks of this style, this clock can come apart into 3 pieces for easy transport. The base separates from the mid section/hull. The top ornament can also be separated.
The movement was last serviced in 2017.
It ran and chimed when recently tested. Please note that any mechanical clock that is moved or shipped might require adjustments upon arrival, and thus time accuracy/running cannot be guaranteed.
