Description: English silver rectangular tea set 1930s a silver tea set with a teapot, sugar bowl and a milk jug in … more English silver rectangular tea set 1930s a silver tea set with a teapot, sugar bowl and a milk jug in an rectangular shape with a scalloped body it is silver marked with the english hallmarks of william hutton , sheffield (1896-2006) ( sugar bowl and milk jug) and the teapot is made and hall marked by j.w. Benson, london (1912-1937). The sugar bowl is made by william hutton and dated with the letter s for the year 1935 in sheffield the milk jug is also made by william hutton, sheffield and dated with the year letter t for the year 1936 the tea pot is made by j.w. Benson, london and dated wit the year letter t for the year 1934 the silver teapot measures 16 cm high, 28 cm wide and the depth is 12 cm the sugar bowl is 10 cm high, 17 cm wide and the depth is 8,5 cm. The milk jug is 10 cm high, 13.5 cm wide and the depth is 6.5 cm. The total weight is 1085 grams this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
