This original oil painting by the esteemed artist martin b. Leisser captures a moment frozen in time, transporting us to the year 1911. Titled "scene in a castle park," this masterpiece invites us to step into a bygone era.
the artist, martin b. Leisser, born in 1845 to german immigrant parents in pittsburgh, had a lifelong passion for art nurtured in the rustic surroundings of his south side neighborhood. This very passion led him on a journey of artistic discovery, which eventually brought him to europe, where he honed his skills under the guidance of eminent mentors in munich and paris.
the artwork transports us to a tranquil medieval bridge near a german castle.
